How to run a calm 90-minute scorecard review
Scorecard reviews go sideways when the first forty minutes are spent explaining how a metric was calculated. Preparation is the real facilitation.
Before the meeting (48 hours): circulate the scorecard with green / amber / red status, a one-line note per amber or red cell, and links to definitions. Ask attendees to comment async on anything unclear.
Minutes 0–10: confirm the decision frame—“Today we need to choose whether to double down on onboarding or expand the referral path.”
Minutes 10–50: walk only the cells that changed or breached threshold. The facilitator (not the analyst) keeps the room on “so what?”
Minutes 50–75: pick at most three actions. Each needs an owner, a date, and a success check that will appear on next month’s scorecard.
Minutes 75–90: capture parking-lot items and confirm the next review date. End on time even if curiosity remains—curiosity belongs in office hours.
Teams in Chatuchak who adopt this rhythm report shorter meetings and fewer “wait, which number?” interruptions within two cycles.
